Hey guys. I was looking forward to some time to write down everything that happened today and let you all know how surgery went, but now that it's time, I can't find the energy to do it. So please know that Lucas did great today. So good in fact, that they went ahead and released him to come home instead of staying in the hospital overnight. He's still in a good bit of pain; more so uncomfortable every time he moves. But, he's getting plenty of rest and has plenty of pain medicine to help make him more comfortable. So until later, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers today! We love you and we know you love Lucas!
BTW, when Lucas gets his trach out...his room won't look so much like a hospital room and more like a babies room! (I had to...still so excited!)
